Pick a Chair, Any Chair

Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know, but I have a thing about chairs. I took this shot on one of my husband’s business trips to Orlando. I thought the bright red chairs looked inviting, but it was extremely hot that day and all the tables were in the sun so I just took a picture of them instead.
I really like roses, especially when they’re still in the “not fully open” stages. There was a small rose garden outside one of the shops on this same boardwalk and I thought this rose particularly perfect.

A Bud – has sepals separated, colour showing and no more than 2 petals unfurled.
A Decorative Bloom – petals should be 1/4 to 1/2 open
An Exhibition Bloom – Petals should be 1/2 to 3/4 open
A Full Bloom – Petals 3/4 to fully open.
Pretty pedantic huh… took alot of the pleasure out of Showing for me.
I never DREAMED these “nameable” stages of not fully open roses existed. Yes, I’d agree, it’s pretty pedantic. Thanks for the education.
