Only this time I don’t know the answer.  This flower (I believe it’s a rose of some sort) is in the back yard of a house that we’re looking at and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before.  Does anybody know what it’s called?

  • Yes, it is a rose, looks like a cluster-flowering Floribunda to me from that photo. It COULD be Christopher Columbus… but that may have white in the marbling.. can’t remember off hand. Is it scented?

    Very nice anyway.. unusual.

  • All I know is that it is a rose, but you knew that. Nice picture, Chris.

  • I don’t know what it is but it sure is beautiful.  And it doesn’t look much like a Texas flower……

  • Ej…wait…see the thorns…isn’t it a doggs rose… we call it that way. I have the white variety in my garden. The smelling one.

  • Gazing over the fence again are we?

  • …you’ve gotten the expert’s opinions, all I can add is that I like the colour. MuSe
PS: How are your African Violets doing? M
