Photo by Chris Duffy . . click on picture then the F11 key to see larger image.
We stopped to take some pictures of a very old cemetary and then ran accross this shot as we were leaving. I love it. It was on the corner of an Amish man’s farm. This one is worth clicking on and doing the F11 key thing to see it larger . . . in my humble opinion.

Lovely photo!!!!… wow.. its so flat there!!!!!
I’m used to looking out at hills…. big hills….
Very peaceful stting, especially with the nice big hills in the background.
Flat, go to San Angelo or better yet Norht Dakota. A kid can run away from home and you can still look out and see him two weeks later.
I understand it’s even large than that “down under.” In australia someone from xangaland told me that they started out on a trip and took a sighting on a tree way off on the horizon. After driving all day, the tree was still on the horizon.
Don’t know who tells taller tales, Aussies or Texans. That must have been one GIANT of a tree. What?
Oh those treasures, the little beauties we find just laying along the road. Thanx for sharing.
…splendid photo! A true country scene. What are the blue flowers?

Hey, that looks familiar! About the blue wildflowers… I’ll answer the question… they are chicory. Great shot, Chris. I hope my photos turn out half as good as yours. I loved our vacation together. Thanks for being the greatest sister ever.
Thanks, Alice, I KNEW you’d know what the blue flowers were. I couldn’t remember.
I really enjoy looking at the pictures, especially of places that I have never been – and of course I love pictures that reveal the past – and the way that people once lived.
I find it fascinating.
Thanks for sharing.
