A Misty Morning . . .
Well, the conditions were just right this morning AND I had my camera with me. It was relatively mild yesterday and this morning it was cold and damp. Just right for creating mist off water. About a month ago the conditions were just right and I didn’t have my camera with me and I’ve been waiting ever since for another misty morning over the waters to happen.
Here’s a couple of the pictures I took this morning on my way to work, and still managed to get there before 8:00 AM. Which was no small feat, because there was no place to pull over or park so I had to go to the next parking lot, park and walk back 2 blocks to the shots I wanted to take. I’m glad I did.

I travel through a little bit of “country” going from my home to the office, even though it’s only a little over 4 miles. Not REALLY country though . . . see the apartments on the far bank?

This was looking back the other direction, at the sunrise in the East. I thought the heavy ground fog was lovely. It really is worth the effort to click on the pictures, then the F11 key to see a larger image.

Great photos. I arrived at work too early to see it.
You know our office moved, didn’t you? We’re no longer at Lincoln Center. We moved to Plano at Tennyson and the Toll Road. It’s a 10 minute drive for me now rather than the 45 it used to take to get to Lincoln Center.
I really liked the first one
…gorgeous pics, Chris. You were sooo right, well worth the effort. Are those squirrel nests in the trees? Love and energy,
MuSe
No, those are not squirrel nests in the trees. That’s mistletoe. There is an abundance of that here in Texas.
Lovely pics!

Chris, I missed this post entirely until LK brought my attention to it. I had posted mistletoe, coincidently, and she mentioned your fog pictures with the mistletoe.
These photos are absolutely beautiful!!!!
Wow, those pictures are beautiful! The last few days here in Minnesota have been nothing but cold and dreary (and it just snowed again last night), I wouldn’t mind some of that Texas weather right about now…
