A Walk Down Memory Lane

This picture was taken this past summer when my sister Alice and I took a vacation and went back East to Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware. This was, I think, the favorite city for both of us. . . Chesapeake City. It was a sleepy little town with lots and lots of older style homes that reminded me a little of our home town, only smaller. It too was situated right beside a river. We had such a fun time galavanting all over a three state area with our digital cameras . . something that would have driven our husbands up a wall had they been along.

I’m impressed that you remember where this house was. I agree that Chesapeake City was about the best place we went. Fun, wasn’t it. We’ll have to do it again before too long
I’m game.
Hi Christine! The picture is lovely, but it can’t compare to an opportunity to share something with a beloved sister.
Oh, and Alice, it wasn’t hard to remember what city this was in, because before I enhanced the picture you could read the sign on this shop. It said “Chesapeake City Gift & Gourmet”. You KNOW my memory isn’t that good.
You and your sister are two talented ladies! I love this picture……I’d love to have it hanging on my wall somewhere!
…just discovered you have been posting!!! Gorgeous pic, Chris, love the colour for all the blossoms.
