  • A Walk Down Memory Lane

This picture was taken this past summer when my sister Alice and I took a vacation and went back East to Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.  This was, I think, the favorite city for both of us. . . Chesapeake City.  It was a sleepy little town with lots and lots of older style homes that reminded me a little of our home town, only smaller.  It too was situated right beside a river.   We had such a fun time galavanting all over a three state area with our digital cameras . . something that would have driven our husbands up a wall had they been along.

  • I’m impressed that you remember where this house was. I agree that Chesapeake City was about the best place we went. Fun, wasn’t it. We’ll have to do it again before too long

  • Hi Christine!  The picture is lovely, but it can’t compare to an opportunity to share something with a beloved sister.

  • Oh, and Alice, it wasn’t hard to remember what city this was in, because before I enhanced the picture you could read the sign on this shop.  It said “Chesapeake City Gift & Gourmet”.  You KNOW my memory isn’t that good.

  • You and your sister are two talented ladies! I love this picture……I’d love to have it hanging on my wall somewhere!

  • …just discovered you have been posting!!! Gorgeous pic, Chris, love the colour for all the blossoms. MuSe
