  • Who Knows Where

I’d be hard pressed to say exactly where this picture was taken. All I know is that it was somewhere is Maryland, Pennsylvania or Delaware.  My sister Alice and I stopped in lots of little towns during our vacation there, got out of our car and just walked around the streets soaking up the interesting houses and beautiful flowers.  Of course we can’t go anywhere without our cameras and they were constantly in use.  I really liked this house with it’s sidewalk lined with daisies . . or coreopsis . . or whatever.

  • They are rudbeckia, I believe, Chris. Love the picture.

  • Thanks, Alice.  I knew you’d know what they were.  All flowers shaped like that are “daisies” in my book.

  • …ah, good to be back! This is where I was so rudely interrupted by Xanga’s glitch yesterday. How dare it?
…gorgeous pic, just love Alice’s and your camera eye. Must be in the genes. You think?
…love older homes, they have such romance.
…I’ve been here before; however, I think rubeckia is other named Black Eyed Susans. I think – can’t seem to keep it knowingly in the “little grey cells.”
…now I will continue my visit, unless another willful happening deems otherwise.   MuSe
