What a Week End !!
We were in San Antonio last week end and had two reasons to be there. ONE – we were there for a business meeting with my husband’s association, but more importantly, TWO – we were there for our son’s wedding.

The wedding went smoothly and the music was great and we are VERY happy to have that event behind us. While my husband was attending his meetings I was helping the kids strip wallpaper and paint the living room, kitchen and hallway in the house they closed on just two days after the wedding. What were they thinking? If you can imagine the stress level of trying to pull off a wedding AND buying a house at the same time.

We had friends come in from Seattle, Portland, Houston, Richardson, Dallas and Plano for the wedding. Barney, our friend from Seattle has always wanted to see the Alamo so we spent a couple hours with him and his wife touring the different buildings and exhibits at the Alamo. I think this building had been part of the “Long” barracks.
