I think we’re finally through with the front yard, at least for this year. My hubby and I have put a lot of time and effort into landscaping it in the last three weeks. We’ve been in our house for just over a year now and up until a couple weeks ago we’d been so preoccupied with interior projects that we had little time to worry about the outside. But we eventually started thinking about what we should do to at least the front, because you could hardly see the house for all the large bushes. We took some of those out and also took out the rotting landscaping timbers and put in stones instead and then planted flat after flat of Perry Winkles. I think we’ve achieved a somewhat cleaner and fresher look.
Since you can barely see the Perry Winkles in this picture I’m also including a close up of the the hardy little blooms.
