  Here’s one of the many spectacular views from atop Mt. Petit Jean in Arkansas.  My sister Alice and I visited three mountain in all during our 9 day vacation in Arkansas, and I think Petit Jean was my favorite.  You’re so high up that you can see for miles and miles.  We managed to average 2 or 3 miles of hiking per day and enjoyed every minute of it.

  And here the two of us are resting on a split rail fence.  The fence was surrounding the Pioneer Cabin located on Mt. Petit Jean.  We realized after the trip that we didn’t ask nearly enough fellow vacationers to take our picture together.  We only had a few from this trip.  We’ll remember that next time.
