A Hiking We Will Go

That’s me at the top of this hill. My sister Alice and I were hiking in Withrow Springs State Park on our recent vacation in Arkansas, and we must have climbed this particular hill at least three times. You see as we were climbing we decided we needed pictures of each other to prove we’d actually trecked such steep trails, so we each went back down so we could get a picture of the other one at the top. Then we decided that we also needed pictures of ourselves using OUR OWN cameras so we had to repeat the process each using the other’s camera. But then we do love hiking and it really was good exercise.

I don’t even think this picture really conveys how steep that particular trail was. As hard as that part was to climb, it wasn’t nearly as frightening as when the trail followed the edge of that cliff.
I’m glad we made it back alive. wink Have a great Thankgiving, Chris. By the way, our trips together are the highlights of my recent years, as well.
LOL… I’d say you got your exercise!!
Thanks for sharing pictures of places I’ll never be, of climbs I’ll never do. My exercise now is Senior Water Aerobics and I kinda goof off some days with them.
looks steep to me. UGH!
Ahhh. The joys of sisterhood in the woods. You and Alice ought to write a book.

:sunny: I only met your sister today in her blog and just realized after reading and looking at the pictures of your candy making and the picture of the walking trail with her name on it who I might be talking to. It looks like talent runs rampant in your family, anything from writing, painting, photography, candy making and Excell Spread sheets which I have excell and know nothing about it as yet. Anyway, tickled to meet you. If your talents were inherited from your mother, she will be as dangerous on the computer as I am after you get her started. You may not be able to hold her down.
