  • A house in Burford, England            Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy

This house is in Burford, England and that’s the little town we’ll be using as our home base while we’re touring the Cotswolds in a couple weeks.  We simply fell in love with it’s beauty and flowers and quaint shops.  And they have this wonderful bakery with all kinds of goodies.  The main street if I remember correctly was about 6 blocks long. . . a really nice size.  And every Sunday afternoon they have a flea market at the high school.  We’ll make sure to hit that.

Here are some more of the lovely stone houses in Burford.  They remind me so much of  condo’s that are all connected to each other, but each one looks different.

  • It won’t be long now, will it. I know you are going to love going back. You’ll know where to go now and what to pass on. I’m looking forward to seeing the new England pictures. :sunny:

  • It looks so wonderful, all of it and just thinking about that little village type atmosphere with those lovely shops.  A favorite program of mine was “Lovejoy”, a BBC detective program on the lighter side.  That looks just like the show.  :sunny:
