  • A Zoo in Florida                                       Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy

Sorry, but that’s about as close as I can get to where that picture was taken.  All I know is that it was on my sister Alice and my trip to Florida.  It’s a zoo that Marvin took us to while we were there.  I chose it today because it’s such a serene and peaceful picture, and that’s what I want for Alice today.  She and her builder had “words” last night and I’m hoping and praying that they’ll patch things up.  It’s not good to let bad feelings between people fester.  They need to be dealt with fairly soon.

  • Well, it made ME feel calm.
    Hope you’re feeling better too.

  • It is a very calming scene.  I felt like I needed it on this Fri. after a hectic week.

  • I wish I was there!

  • I’m just getting here Chris… and as you know, I did make peace with Kyle and feel much better.  :) I hope you are feeling much better now, too. Bronchitis is nothing to sneeze at –  :nono: No, wait a minute. I think it is something to sneeze at, and wheeze and cough, too.   :giggle: Anyway, I hope you are nearly well and will feel on top of the world when you go on vacation in a few days.  :sunny:

  • Oh, yes, I meant to mention the picture. I have one nearly like that. I don’t remember where the zoo was either, but that lake was sure a peaceful scene. The bamboo in the foreground really makes it a great shot, too.  :goodjob:

  • is this graphic art?

  • is this graphic art?

  • Ladie_Jiggs asked if this is graphic art.  It’s a photo that I took and then manipulated on my computer using Paint Shop Pro software.

  • After reading your comment, I remember you said something similar to me in an earlier blog.  I am more forgetful thatn I thought.  I do remember telling you I felt the same way about your photos, being so creative and wonderful and I meant that sincerely.  I am hoping to work on some photos of my own soon.  The weather is changing here so there should be some beautiful growth very soon to enjoy getting snaps of.  I’ll bet you are more poetic than you give yourself credit for.  You always do such nice blogs, telling of places you have been.  I’ll watch your words to see if I can’t ferret out something you said as poetic.  I’m a bit sneaky that way.

  • If I can remember I need to trot to a local pond and see if I can at least catch the muscovy ducks there. All ponds around here have muscovies.
