Home in Chesapeake Bay area . . . St. Michaels
Well, I'm progressing nicely, according to my physical therapist. I can't wait to be finished with the therapy sessions. It's incredible to me that I'm actually PAYING someone to inflict pain on me. Stretch this, twist that, pull this, can you tolerate that . . . how about a little more? What's wrong with this picture? But Cyndy (that's my p.t.) was very pleased with me tonight. I gained from 5 to 15 degrees mobility in every category she measured, so that's good. I'm finding it a lot less painful to reach my arm up over my head each morning when I comb my hair too, and that's definately a good thing.

I have deep tissue massage for my arthritis. Knight says...how do you endure the pain and I said....the pain takes away the pain! I have the muscles relaxed so that they do not tense up and cause lack of mobility! So keep it up. You will get there. I have not had to take a pill for my arthritis since I started this therapy 3 years ago!
Sounds unpleasent but at least you're benefitting from it all.
Someday I will have a front veranda like that!
But it feels soooo good when they stop! I too have PT. I have Fibromyalgia and was rear-ended a couple of yrs ago and have never been quite the same again. My neck is what they are treating. I'm glad that you are progressing so well. How much longer with the PT?
Hope no one has tossed that over used phrase "no pain no gain" at you. I hate that one!
Glad you are progressing and btw I'm not planning on dying anytime soon, but look what almost happened to Alice. That is why we are prepared.
Beautiful picture!! Glad the pt is working!!
