  • Did I ever mention that I love gates?

I finally bit the bullet and went to the eye doctor.  My vision has been getting a little worse and here lately it's been getting blurred around 1 or 2 in the afternoon at work and then by the time I drive home I've got significant double vision.  Although I can see well enough to see the other cars, I'd be hard pressed to read anybody's license tag numbers or read the street signs, so it's a very good thing that I only have 4 miles to drive home from work.  When I told the eye doctor that I could read his charts better if I'd blink, but only for a moment, he immediately suggested that I start taking a vitamin supplement that helps the eyes' tearing system to work better.  It's a combination of fish oil, flax oil and boraye oil (what ever that is). I'll let you know how it works.

  • I love gates too, Christine, but I love doors and windows more.    It seems we don't see much wrought iron on new construction as we used to.   Not the style anymore, I suppose.  Is this your house?

  • Glad you are getting help with your eye problem. keep us posted.   :heartbeat: :heartbeat:Mom

  • I hope the supplement works for you!!  Gates are so beautiful.  I love wrought iron!

  • I think you've mentioned your love for gates before.    You take beautiful photos of them, too!  :goodjob:  A friend of my mother's has trouble with her eyes being too dry.  I'm not sure what she does for it, though.  I hope the vitamins work for you.

  • Ava asked if this was my house and my gate.  I WISH!  No, we have a plain wooden fence, although I'd LOVE for it to be a stone wall half way up and wrought iron fencing the rest of the way up. Oh, wouldn't that be loverly.

  • I think it may be genetic. When I went to the eye doctor last time and complained of blurry vision, he determined that my problem was a lack of tears, as well. He recommended artificial tears for me, though, and never mentioned vitamins.

I am glad that you like gates because then we get to see gates and fences and doorway pictures. :goodjob:

  • Yipes. That must be scarry to loose vision like that. Mike
