Angie's Rose
Be careful what you wish for. Just a few short weeks ago I was so busy here at work that I couldn't see straight. I wished for it to slow down a bit. Well, it's slowed down to an absolute crawl. I have received 3 emails today. . . THREE. I usually get around 60 a day, and today just 3. I mean, how many games of solitaire can you play on a computer before you go crazy? I've played solitaire and minesweep just to keep from falling asleep. All three bosses are out of town and I know of at least 3 of the sales reps who are on vacation, so there's just nothing going on here at the office. And boredom is not a good thing . . . that's when I generally hit the vending machine. NOT GOOD. So far today I've managed to resist, but it's only 8 minutes after 2:00.
OH, a phone call. . . . . . . . . It was my husband. So now I guess I'll go back to reading the owners manual on my new camera. . . the second time.

Flare up...exactly, you think you've mastered it, when WHAM, it's there. Since I've been on xanga I have discovered so many that have suffered losses. You a daughter, I a son, Alice too. Do you have other children? RITA.
Reading the manual can be very good...Sorry about your daughter...

When I was working, I always liked being busy. Not "crazy" busy----but busy enough to make the day go by quickly.
Liked your picture of the longhorns. You do have a great view there!
And that vending machine would be calling to me, and I have no will power to resist it!!
Maybe tomorrow will be more on pace.

Beautiful rose! I never could figure out the proper way to prune them. My neighbor doesn't even touch her pink one and it grows such pretty flowers all over the bush.
The cumbersome belt kept me lolly gagging in the recliner or on the couch or checking the 3 emails I got. 8 hrs. of watching the blinking light on it!
