It's silly, I know, but here's a picture of the carrying case I made for my new camera. I made it out of an old pair of jeans. The strap is long enough that I can wear it over one shoulder, or I can run it through the loop on the strap and wear it around my waist when I'm hiking. It's just large enough to hold the camera and 2 back up AA batteries. I also put a tiny pocket on the back just big enough to hold an extra media card. And when you're hiking, that's about all you need . . . your camera, extra batteries and an extra media card. . . well I mean camera wise anyway. You gotta have a good walking stick too and of course a survival pack.

I need to do something like that for my camera. I still have one of those old cameras that takes floppy disks and I never have a place to put them. Then I have to keep them separate from the ones I have already used.
:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:How cute! You are so clever!
You must have inherited from my mother your knack for making something out of nothing. Neat. oodles of love :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:Mom
Yes, a survival pack. I mean a body has to have a ready supply of chocolate. wink
How neat! :goodjob: It should be lightweight, too! :sunny:
I just went to WalMart and bought a bag for my camera. I can't see well enough to thread needles and my hands have enough trouble operating the little on button on the camera. You are so clever. How do you protect your LED when the camera is out? I keep sticking my fingers on it some how. And when I use the view finder I get nose dots on it.
Very cool.

:sunny: I wish I knew how to sew!
Hey Chris, tell me if you can see the movie I posted a link to in my blog today. It is of my garden today. I'm only going to leave it online for a few days because it takes up a HUGE amount of space. I was going to send it to you on a CD, but you should be able to see it this way. I hope :sunny:
Good job!! (I'd add a water bottle to that list, but that's part of the survival pack, I'm sure!)
You did a great job - so creative, and probably far better than anything you could buy.
How clever!! And stylish!! I need to make a carrying case for my camera, so much nicer than having it stuck in the backpack.
