It's a lamb's ear leaf in my front yard after the sprinkler system had done it's thing. I thought the close up looked rather like some sort of blood vessels inside a body, but it's just the water sticking those tiny tiny little hairs on the lamb's ear together.

Never would have guessed that. Did you take that with your new camera? I planted a lambs ear, my first for this garden. If it does well, I'll plant more. I do love them, but they need well drained soil, and mine is not that.
My lambs ear isn't doing well. Don't know if I have watered too much or too little.
