I hope Alice doesn't mind me posting a picture of her garden on my site, but I have so very little color in my own yard right now (other than green and more green). I spent this past week end in OKC with her and took a lot of pictures of her yard. Big surprise, huh? There's not a single gardener I know that works harder than Alice does in her garden. She was up early digging beds, deadheading, watering . . . even on Sunday before church. She talked like it was so pathetic looking, when it really wasn't at all. I understand it's been hit by the brutal Oklahoma summer heat, but it's still very pretty.

How pathetic!!! Just kidding. You have to choose your shots now, though... you have to admit that. I like the picture. That is a nice angle on that one. :goodjob: You didn't mention, that you worked in my garden too. Aren't I a great host? :giggle:
Great picture even if you do have to pick your shots. This hot summer has been hard on all our gardens. Now that you are retiring we'll expect to see some garden shots of your own next summer. :) It's great you and Alice get to work together occasionally. That makes it more fun when you have someone to share the work with and the rewards sweeter too. Have a good week.
Nice Photo! "Green and more green" would be good here this year! We are having a terrible drought! Most of my yard is brown & crunchy!
Beautiful I'd say, even with the dry summer, sounds very much like Italy at the moment, we have hay instead of grass! RITA.
