  • This is a picture of the back side of a corn crib on Quinsippi Island, which is just a couple miles from from where Alice and I grew up in Quincy, IL.  Back in early October that's one of the places Alice and I visited while on our annual "sister trip".

  • I wouldn't have known that was a corn crib. :sunny: My education has been sadly lacking.

  • I think all sisters should have annual sister trips.  That has to be one of the best parts of you girls lives.

Hoping you are feeling more of the rejuvinating spirit each day.

  • :goodjob: I love pictures of old buildings and sheds. I have quite a few and have painted pictures of some of them. I always imagine the stories they could tell. Have a blessed week & God keep you safe. HUGS

  • Love how you did the picture.  It looks like a watercolor.  :goodjob:   You and your sis are so knowledgeable about this stuff!  I'm learning  :)

  • brings back memories. Remember when we had our  family reunion there? Was just looking at pics. from it today. Love you ::heartbeat:::heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:Mom

  • :sunny: Hello

 What a wonderful idea...  annual "sister trips"...  I would love to do that with my sister's...  sheesh, our family needs lots of prayer.  Although a sister trip would really do all of us a great bit of good !! Now if all would be willing to participate.

:goodjob:  I am so glad that you kept the appointment that you had for the bug boy to come out!!  Isn't it amazing how God works??   TT4N, Joy

  • My heaven's I had forgotten all about corn cribs! Grandpa's had a different shape, sort of wider at the top if I recall.

  • Great photo with a great treatment. Mike

  • Beautiful.  You are talented as is your sister.  I watched your slide show and I was very moved at the life story of your husband, a wonderful person...oh, how my heart would ache missing him, but how grateful I would feel to have known such a man.  What a great tribute to share his story, and yours, as you continue your journey here with us.  Thank you.

  • I really like the way you made it look like a watercolor painting. :goodjob: Beautiful!
