Say Goodbye, Gracie!!
For many years my husband and I knew that when we retired we'd need to sell off a bunch of the flow blue we've collected over the last 30 years. That time has come and deciding which pieces to sell and which pieces to keep was not easy. It's a little like asking which of your children you can sell into slavery. But, I have to admit, I do have favorites and that's what I'm keeping. I'm selling 148 pieces and keeping 69. Above are the pictures of all the pieces I'm selling. They buyers are coming at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Bye bye my precious porcelain!!
The guys that are buying the pieces (yes, I said guys) are giving me a fair price for them so it's a win win situation. I need to downsize so I can move into a smaller house, they need merchandise to sell in their antique outlets, and . . . cash is always nice.

wow what an incredible collection. Hope whoever ends up with them loves them tons.
You are so courageous, always willing to keep on keeping on. Go, girl!
It's beautiful and hopefully you enjoyed it to the fullest while it was in your care. I have things I love as well and know it would be hard to part with some of it.
I actually stopped by with purpose. I wanted to wish you, especially, a really good new year. I hope it blossoms into something new, beautiful, wonderful and possibly exciting.
:sunny: Happy New Year Christine. :sunny:

Chris I am glad you have showed pictures of your Flo Blue. They are so beautiful, and I am glad you are keeping some. Hope you are recovered from the flu by now. :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat and prayers. Mom
What a beautiful collection. I can just imagine what a hard time you had deciding which one to let go. Down sizing is always hard to do. HAVE A BLESSED, SAFE, HEALTHY & HAPPY NEW YEAR. HUGS
Chris - I hope you have a beautiful and blessed 2006. I'm glad you were able to find buyers for the flow blue pieces you were willing to part with. I know it was difficult to make the choices to let so much go.
:goodjob: I'm glad you posted a picture of them. You really do/did have a large and wonderful collection. But since you are keeping your favorites you probably won't even miss the others. And you'll have room for them when you move to a smaller home -- hopefully very near me.
Oh my heart! I love flow blue & only have a few pieces. I would have loved to have been able to at least dream about buying a piece or two from you. I hope you're getting a good price for them, as they look to be in excellent shape!
Best of the new year to you Chris! May it bring small triumphs and an easing of your heartache.
Beautiful indeed. I'm afraid I have nothing of such magnitude. Glad you are keeping some.
I love Flow Blue and always have. I don't have any, did see some at an auction not long ago, but the pieces were all chipped. Glad you got a fair price for the pieces you sold, and that you kept some for yourself.
They are so beautiful! I don't see how you can part with them. At least, you kept some of them.
