PANIC TIME. Yesterday I got a statement in the mail saying that I owed my dentist $656.70 and that it was seriously past due. I could hardly wait to call his office this morning to find out what it was all about and what exactly the charges were for. Seems they changed software billing systems last year in May and the girl that handled all their insurance claims is no longer with them. Sounds like a big MESS. I told them I really didn't think that I owed him anything except for what ever the insurance didn't pay on my visit back in December for a routine cleaning. They've promised to print out a detailed statement from both software systems and send me a copy. I sure hope I'm right and that I really DON'T owe him any money. I really don't see how I could possibly owe him anything, since he only does my routine cleanings twice a year. You see, he sends me to specialty dentists for the other stuff, like the tooth implant and digging out the root on the broken tooth . We'll see.

Hey...they just goofed. You don't owe it. Now that other specialty dentist...he is another story. My goodness, it sounds like you had some major ouchy work.
I loved the photo from your last blog. That calendar is going to bring back good memories every time you turn a page. I pray for you daily that God meets your needs. Not only that you lean on Him, but that He holds you firmly in His all sufficient Lap.
I'm betting it's just a glitch in the computer and you don't owe anything. I hate when that happens because it takes up so much time!
Beautiful photo, by the way :goodjob:
Sounds like an awfully expensive cleaning. I can't imagine why they have to send print outs, correct the error would be better.
Bless you,I hate for you to have trouble. As you may know, I have been trying to clean my files. I ran across this thing I had written when your dad died.I wont write it all, just these few lines:When the last person has left--And the last flowers look bereft---Somehow God knows our deep pain---He is there we are not alone again---
Oh, no! I hope that the dentist's office is mistaken. Surely you couldn't owe that much!
Well fluffy ducks! I hate it when something like that happens they should have double checked everything before they sent the bill. If you only went to that dentist for cleanings, the bill being that high should have alerted them that something was wrong. I know what you mean about panic time. It would send me into a panic too. I'm praying for you.
Have a blessed weekend & God keep you safe. HUGS
