I'm listening to a CD that one of my husband's former students burned for me. It's a bunch of songs sung by one of Mike's singing groups back in 1974, and one of the tracks on the CD is a song that Mike sang the solo in. Also, I can definately hear and pick out his voice in the rest of the songs as well. I can't begin to tell you how much this CD means to me. I play it constantly. I even burned a copy to play in the car. So you see, I can now listen to my husband singing any time I feel like it.
Thank you, Jim.

What a wonderful gift that is for you. That is the greatest thing the young student could have done for you. Kudos to him for being so thoughtful. The red rose is just breath taking, is it your favorite? I love roses but can't seem to get them to do well.
Have a blessed week & God keep you safe. HUGS
That was really nice of Jim, wasn't it. I am really glad you have that CD now.
That is so special.
I think that has to be one of the nicest gifts anyone could have left you. Very special to have that CD. I have my grand daughter on our answering machine from years ago. I just can't delete her little messages.
How thoughtful of your friend. The rose is beautiful. love you.:heartbeat::heartbeat:Mom
What a beautiful gift, and how lovely for you to be able to have that to hold.
That is so wonderful! I wish I had the recordings of my grandmother singing on CD. She used to sing the special music in church quite often, and it would be a treat to have that.....Beautiful pictures...
What a nice gift! That is something that you can always enjoy.
What a wonderful gift!
The picture of the rose is lovely. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift.

How do you keep from crying? When I hear my dad on the tapes I often tear up. Of course I often laugh to because I can see his face when I was tape recording him. His eyes often had a mischievous gleam.
One of my treasures is a tape made by my son's quartet as he toured the US and Canada for their Bible School. Sometimes, tears flow down my cheeks as I listen when I drive, but they are good tears. I can almost reach out and touch him.....and someday I will.
I think maybe the comment above may have the wrong Christine, you think??
What a wonderful, thoughtful gift you have. To hear your hubby's voice singing ~ That makes me want to learn how to use my video camera I bought a while ago and get some footage of my parents. Take care! :heartbeat:
