A house somewhere on The Lake of the Ozarks
A friend and I have started a "Hand & Foot" group. H&F is a card game that I learned to play about a year ago and my husband and I used to play it once a week with a couple that we went out to eat with every Friday evening. You have to play with a partner so now that I'm partnerless we no longer play. But I really missed playing and when another friend of mine found out that I know how to play H&F she suggested we start our own group. That's exactly what we did and I'm enjoying it very much. H&F is a game that you can play without too terribly much concentration. We talk and visit a lot and never miss a play. We don't even care if we win or not (well . . . some of us don't). As we occasionally remind the more competitive among us, we're just here to have fun.

You are going to have to teach me how to play that game. :heartbeat:
:goodjob: Good for you! :sunny:
We have so many happy memories around the table playing cards. I pobably would love to learn how to play that game too! Playing a game that lets you visit is most fun I think or one that encourages interaction. So glad you're enjoying that game once again! :sunny:
Have fun:goodjob::heartbeat::heartbeat:Mom
Have fun!! I have a group of ladies I play Bunco with, it's always nice to get out a socialize (my husband isn't much of a game player, but every now and again we get him to play Scrabble).
:goodjob:Sounds like my kind of game. I'm so glad you have a group to play it with. I love to play mexican dominos and scrabble.
Have a blessed weekend & God keep you safe, healthy & happy. HUGS
I never heard of that card game. It seems that different areas of the country have their own games. Around here, everyone used to play "Sheephead". Ken's sis and her hubby tried to teach it to us, but we couldn't figure it out. Think if we had GOOD teachers it might have been different!! These days, the younger generation don't know about it---so imagine the game will die out.
