  • I didn't get a whole lot accomplished today.  I went for a walk this morning and then to late church rather than the 8am service and so I didn't get home until almost 1pm.  I had a call waiting for me saying that a realtor wanted to show my house from 3 to 5 and they want you NOT to be there when they show the house so I spent the time in my car.  Then when I got back to the house there was another call saying that my realtor wanted to show the house from 5:30 to 6:30, so there went another hour.  But, I did manage to go through all the CD's in Mike's collection and choose the ones I want to keep and the ones I'll sell.  So I did accomplish something . . . just not very much.

  • My daughter used to come down to our home just about every time they showed her house on the weekends.  It can really be inconvenient to have to leave whenever they call to show the house.

  • Lets hope it sells quickly so all that will be history. :heartbeat:

  • Be thankful you don't have pets to bundle up every time your house is shown!!

Thanks for telling me what the beautiful window was.  I 'd fall in love with it too!

  • Your'e making progress. We will hope it doesn't take long  for it to sell.:goodjob::heartbeat:Mom

  • When we sold our home, the realtor, who was our sister-in-law, didn't want us there either.  But whenever another realtor showed it, they DID want us there.  We built the home ourselves, and knew everything there was to know about it.  And since we were in construction, they felt comfortable having us there.  But what I didn't like is when they would call and want to show the house in a half hour.  At that time, our boys were still single and at home, and I would really have to scramble to get it presentable.  But I didn't want to turn them down, and possibly lose a sale.  Frustrating!  It sounds like there is good interest in your home.  Hope you find a buyer quickly.

Just read your previous blog.  Banff is the one place I would really love to go see.  I have downloaded lots of pictures of the area.  And would love to stay in that hotel, too.  There is a train excursion from Vancouver over to Banff that I would like to take, too.  But doubt I ever will, because Ken doesn't seem to be interested.  So I will travel there vicariously through pictures like yours!
