Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
This park is about 4 miles from my house and a friend and I went there today for a long walk. What we love about the park is that for the most part it's left natural. They have two kinds of trails . . . cement trails for the bikers and dirt trails for the hikers. You can see which we prefer. There are a couple of pavilions where you can picnic, but other than that the land has just been left as is. It's like taking a hike in the wilderness rather than a park. We spent about 2 hours there today, and we both considered it as good exercise.
The color is beginning to show and it really stands out from the brown dead leaves.
There is a wonderful creek that runs through the park and our path criss-crossed over it several times.

Last March, when we drove out west, there was such a difference in the trees in Oklahoma and Texas from the time we went west at the beginning of March, and the time we came back the end of March. Of course, by the time we got a little further north, nothing was out yet, and it was still depressingly gray by the time we got back here to WI.
How did the house showings go?.
The house has shown every day since it's been on the market, but so far no offers. Be Patient, Chris!!!!
What a nice place to go for a peaceful walk. Its really hard to be patient for a house to sell when you want to get started building another one. I'm still praying it will sell quickly.
Have a blessed weekend & God keep you safe, healthy & happy. HUGS
