What a frustrating day today. I stayed at the house all day because a lady from Houston was supposed to come by and look at some very old books that my husband had bought in England to see if she wanted to buy them. She never showed. Around supper time I got a voice mail message on my cell phone that she wouldn't be able to come to Plano until this Friday. So, we'll be sticking close to the house on Friday as well. But it will be worth it if she buys the books.

That's so frustrating! I do a lot on craigslist and on several freecycle sites, and people who don't show up at the time arranged, and who don't call in a timely manner to reschedule -- well, they lose their opportunity. I'd rather give the stuff to the Good Will than reward that behavior. Of course, you can't do that with valuable books, but she's not the only person who would be interested, I'm sure. And having had several very unpleasant experiences lately with people giving bids, etc. -- let me gently remind you to have an idea of what the books are worth, and don't just at her offer until you've have other bids. People can be pretty unscrupulous these days.
 Arggh! That should have been "don't jump at her offer". Magic fingers playing up again.
Bummer....
she is behaving as if her time is more important than hers.
I hate it when people do that.
 Those Azaleas make me want Spring even more! Great pic!
Just passing through... nice site!
I love azaleas. My daughter has a yard full of them she has a really pretty DARK maroon one. She said it was just blooming its head off.
That disgusting the woman wasn't more considerate. Praying that you can sell them at a really good price. Did you have them appraised?
Have a blessed weekend & God keep you safe, healthy & happy. HUGS
Yesterday I waited at my son's school 45 minutes for him to return from an out-of-town soccer game so I could take him to tutoring. Finally, at 6:15 I called his tutor to tell them what was going on, only to find out he was already there! He'd convinced the driver to drop him there. Good plan, except for the not telling me part! I don't know how you spend so much time waiting in your car; that was enough for me!
