This is the other Iris that Alice gave me for my birthday last year. I can't remember the name of it (alas, I'm doing good to remember that it's an Iris) but it sure is pretty. See how frilly the edges are. Also, can you see the bee inside, busy collecting pollen?
Going into the hospital for a minor day-surgery procedure in less than an hour, and should be home again by 1:00 pm. My friend Darlene is driving me there and back, because after the procedure I will be in no shape to drive a vehicle. Pretty much in la la land, incoherent and barely able to walk. So if that much anticipated and illusive offer on the house should finally come today, I'll just have to wait until the cob webs are out of my head to respond.

I remember getting this iris after I saw the picture. Until I saw it I thought perhaps they had mislabled one of the irises I got for your birthday, but after seeing it -- Mesmerizer, my favorite white iris -- I remember thinking when I saw it at the iris sale that you just HAD TO have one.
Yippee!! You sold your house (per Alice). How wonderful. And she said you will be building your new home just a few houses away from her. Perfect. Sure will make it easy for sister trips!! Was wondering if the realtor tried to reach you while you were in the hospital? Now, the fun begins!! Have a Blessed Easter!!

I'm doing the happy dance for you. Just came from Alice's site. (Saying a prayer for you to hear that the papers have been signed) What a beautiful iris. I have a Mesmerizer too, its a space-age iris.
