  • Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later . . . and now that it has, I don't have to worry about it happening any more.  We have had a boo boo on the car.  Someone backed into my car last night . . . but it could have been a lot worse.  He hit ONLY the back door.  Neither the front door nor the back fender were affected at all, so I feel rather fortunate really.

  • Oh gosh, how annoying, for you AND the person who did it.
I hope you can get it fixed properly.

    Prettty color :)

  • On the 'it can't hurt more, can it?' theory -- SOMETIMES we have been able to 'plunger' out dents (like from hail and some door dings) using our friendly plumber's helper!. Make sure it doesn't have any abrasive stuff on the bottom and use strong, even strokes to pull the metal back out. This works best when the dent is fresh, before the metal has a chance to 'memorize' the dent. Sometimes a combination of using the plunger and some careful pounding with your fist AROUND the dent, on the higher metal, will help pop the dent out. It sounds daffy, put it worked on my car. I learned this from my brother, the car expert.
