I was supposed to move today, but mother nature decided we wouldn't. It's been snowing off and on here since 7 this morning, and it's very cold and really windy. It bites at your face, but isn't it beautiful!

I'm back now. Actually I've been back since Saturday night, but I was sick and spent almost all day Sunday in bed. Yesterday I spent the majority of the day packing my apartment up. I'll pack again today and then Wednesday I'll have to pull the plug on my computer and pack that up as well. The plan is for me to close and move in on Thursday. That's if Chad gets the "punch list" done by then. I sure hope he does.

Look at the strange cloud formations in the sky this afternoon. You can't tell from the picture, but those "ribs" continued even down in between those two trees. You could see it with the naked eye and if you zoom in really close on this picture. It was really strange, this filled the entire eastern sky. I wonder how a metiorologist would interpret this sky.

This is the sunrise that greeted me this morning as I left my apartment for my daily 1 mile walk. I'm glad I took the walk even though I'm not sure I needed it today. I got plenty of exercise today working in my yard at the new house, which I haven't taken possession of yet. But the "graders" did their thing today and I spent a good deal of time picking out the huge clay clods that were still left and sweeping the driveway and sidewalks, as well as leveling out the dirt that they had spread around the yard. I'm pooped tonight.

Oh, please indulge me . . . I just can't help myself. I got another BINGO in Scrabble today, and it was on a triple. I made 85 points on this one . . . CLOSETS. I mostly am only able to think of 3, 4 and 5 letter words when playing Scrabble. The 7 letter words just don't present themselves to me usually.

This is one of the several huge statues (or should I say cluster of statues) located on the BrickTown property in Oklahoma City. The bricktown area had been a section of downtown that was really getting run down and some years ago the city of Oklahoma City decided that they could rejuvinate that area of town by having a river walk with shops and cafes sort of like San Antonio has. It is not as "healthy" as San Antonio's River Walk . . . not yet anyway, but it sure is popular with the folks who work downtown. They flock there for the lunch Monday thru Fridays and only time will tell if it will grow.
