  • WHEW!!!  It took me 37 days to get "settled" and decorated in the new house, but I'm finally done.  NOW . . . on with life.  It's just in the nick of time too, because I have company coming tomorrow evening, but I'm ready at last.

  • I've been here 23 years and I still have some boxes in the attic not unpacked.  Congratulations!

  • :applause::sunny:Oh I am soooo happy for you Christine** what a great time...enjoy your company in your new home:) hugs..love, Lee

  • Enjoy your new home!

  • Came to your house site from another site and then got here from the house site.  LOVE the pics and your new home.  What state are you in?  Come by and visit my site anytime.

  • "Company comin'" is the best way to get a house in order, that is for sure.  Thank them mightily when they get there!  And, most of all---relax and enjoy them!

RYC:  Congratulations on your weight loss.  I lost 40 lbs. over a year's time back in the 80's.  But I didn't keep it off.  I lost the weight in order to look good on my first cruise.  After the cruise I had no incentive anymore.  Now, the incentive is to live a little longer.  Asthma and pre-diabetes being diagnosed this past year has put me on alert that it is time to do something.  My barrier is and always has been exercise.  Since I've had this "phobia" since I was little, I cannot seem to get past it.  Dr. can ask me to do almost anything else, and I willingly oblige.  There is no way I will go outside the home and exercise.  Tried that a couple times.  I know it is psychological.  So, will just lose weight slower, and without "active" exercise.  What I do do is try to do more projects around the house----getting away from my computer and recliner!!!

  • :good-job: Congratulations Chris!!  I know you'll enjoy your new home!!

  • Have a good time with your guest! Have a good week Chris!

  • Dearest Chris,

Congratulations on this new phase of your life. You are so inspiring. I get tired just seeing how much you do! Your home is lovely. It will be so nice to be there during this cold, stormy weather... It'll be a good test for the builder, roofer, windows, etc etc. Mary

  • You beat us by 87.3 days. Mike
