Alice pointed out to me today, while we were working on the flower beds out behind my back fence, that my gaura was starting to bloom. I have three gaura plants and I like them. They are supposed to attract butterflies.
Here's what Alice and I were working on. We barely got started on them yesterday afternoon but finish today a little after noon. Now I have to amend the soil and then get stuff planted. Remember that brick pile? It's dwindling slowly but surely.

You are really coming along with your yard. We came through OK City at about 2 a.m. Sat. morning on our way home. Was wondering about all the water in the fields and ditches. Now I know you received about 3 1/2 inches of rain on Friday. We had snow, sleet and rain all across NM, and rain off and on in TX. Pretty much done by OK. Waved to you and Alice when we went through the city. Am sure you didn't see me at that time of the morning! lol It was after 3 a.m. on the way out to AZ.
There is actually a daffodil ready to bloom here. Hope it doesn't get hit by the cold coming in in the next couple days!
:what-fun: So glad that project is behind us
I do think it is going to look great.
I think you and Alice have blogs simply to stick your tongue out at the rest of us and do a Na-na-na-na-na-na at us. lol Must be nice to have a green thumb and all the expertize and knowledge to go with it.

We started working on our yard this week! Now I need to get to TLC and get spending on some plants.
You and Alice are two of the most industrious folks I know.
