Look what was waiting to greet me in the back yard this morning. It's Jessie's Song . . . a lovely iris. The irises that we moved from Alice's yard to mine hardly knew that they had been moved because we did it so quickly.  So I have high hopes that most of them will go ahead and bloom for me this year.

  • It's beautiful, Chris. I'm so glad that the irises didn't make you wait until next spring.

  • You are really ahead of us with the blooming. I have lots of iris but don't know names since they were here when we moved here. Same with the Peonys and daffodils.

  • The Iris is so regal looking. I, also am glad it didn't make you wait until next year.         All these new beginnings in your life are exciting.:sunny::love:Mom

  • Ohhh pretty!  We got to TLC today, it was crazy busy!  I need a couple more pots and soil for the cherry tomatoes and pepper we got. So far I have verbena, lantana, a couple geraniums  and herbs.  We need to go back for perennials, the little ones were getting restless so we decided that it would be good for them and hubby's wallet if we vamoosed!

  • very pretty indeed! :sunny:

  • How beautiful your iris is and fantastic it didn't make you wait until next spring. I haven't seen a Home Run rose bush but I have the Knock out rose bush. I have a couple of those ordered. I'll be glad when they come in. Your yard is going to be just fabulous. I can't wait to see it in person. Hopefully sometime this summer I can make a trip to see my friend and we can come look at your's and Alice's beautiful yards.

Have a blessed week & God keep you safe, healthy & happy.  HUGS

  • So pretty! My iris bed needs thinned out. None have bloomed yet this year and I suppose they won't because they are crowded. They didn't bloom profusely either last year. I may as well take the bed out but sure hate too.
