Today Alice and I drove a few miles north to meet with Gillian again. This time visiting her yard and her neighborhood. She is lucky enough to have this wonderful park within a block or so of her house. Alice and I are both hoping that the developer of our sub-division finally adds the gravel walking path beside the ravine that runs behind our houses. It would make for a much more interesting walk each morning rather than looking at everyone's landscaping in the neighborhood....day after day.
I believe I have one of my day lilies mislabeled in my back yard.
This one is labeled "Last Red Star", when it's actually a Stella deOra. Duh . . . I wonder how that happened.

How often do the Stella deOra lilies go without blooms? Mine are doing well I think but sometimes they are without blooms for several days.
Honestly, TheSunnyC, I'd have to ask Alice. I just know when I like a flower and when I don't . . . I don't know much about them. I just take Alice with me when we go to the nursery and when I see a flower I like I ask Alice if it's a good one for my yard or not.
RYC - if you get to photoshop the picture I took can you make me taller - hmmm say 5 foot 4!! My yard is still a work in progress but at least we saw some pretty flower and birds out on our walk.
I had a great time, too. Yes, I believe that daylily was mislabled. Can happen easy enough. I'm glad it is a Stella instead of the other. You'll have enough of those, since they spread faster than any of my others.
Maybe they traded places in the middle of the night.
