Trinity, my grand daughter, had a blast the other day when we went to my mother's apartment to do her Monday chores. Mother let Trini put on the clown hair, nose and lipstick she used to use when she was Scribbles the Clown. Both of them really got a kick out of this.
Then my mother let Trini play with her magnifying sheet (used for reading books and newspapers). I called this picture "Trini gets the big head".
Then, after all chores were done and we had finished eating lunch, we all went outside so we could watch Trini blow some bubbles. I think mom enjoyed this part of the day most of all.

How wonderful she still has her great-grandmother. My kids have had very little interaction with either of their great-grandmothers. One passed away two years ago, and was very very out of it for years before that. The other has ahlzheimers, and doesn't know who her daughter is, let alone great-grand children.
Great example of the need of the generations to be close.
I love your mama's red shoes! Happy feet! :what-fun:
It certainly looks like everyone enjoyed Trini's visit! Our two visited with their Great Granny on our trip home in the spring and had fun with her set of Russian nesting dolls.
I laughed out loud at "Trini gets the big head" - too cute!! She needs to see that when she is a teenager hehehhe
How fun!

:sunny: How great that you and Alice are close enough to see your mother often. I know how she enjoys seeing her great-grandchildren, we do so enjoy seeing ours.
Cute magnifying sheet shot. I wonder why so many kids are afraid of clowns. Did your mom ever run into any that were?
