  • Pictures from my yard this morning

    xEvergreenCollectingSnow

This is one of the evergreen trees in front of my house.

    xChristmasBerries

Still a little snow and ice clinging to these berries . . . also in my front yard.

    xOrnamentalGrassCollectingSnow

I have two clumps of ornamental grass in my front yard and this one was still sporting a a little snow in it's "hair".

    xFrozenRoses

And, alas, the roses in my back yard have been frozen, thawed, and refrozen several times over. They are looking pretty sad.

  • Kansas City got snow according to dilove but we missed it all. Had some rain which is good and needed but stayed warm enough not to ice over. It is colder tonight than last night so glad we don't have to go anywhere tomorrow and if we do want to go can wait until it warms up.

  • Oh how pretty!

  • Is that Nandina in the second picture? Leaves look like it may be. Pretty picture.

  • Yes, that's a nandina. I certainly wasn't expecting berries. Maybe I should have known, but I didn't.

  • Happy New Year!!

  • Snow and ice make for pretty pictures, but for me it makes me stay in the house curled up with a good book. I'm looking forward to spring. I'm already cruising through the new plant catalogs.

HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR & GOD KEEP YOU SAFE, HEALTHY & HAPPY.

    HUGS   &   Love    Eve
