This is what I wasted a day and a half on the last couple of days. . . putting together a jig saw puzzle. I finally finished it last night around 10:30. Part of me wants to quit once the "fun" parts are finished, but another part of me just can't leave it alone until it's done. The sky and the water in this one were the hardest (obviously) because there is so much of it and most of the sky looks just like all the rest of the sky, and the water looks like all the rest of the water. But there is a sense of accomplishment when I stick with it and get all those pesky pieces in their proper places. Now it's time to tear it up and put it all back in the box, and get on with more urgent needs . . like vacuuming and dusting the house.

Isn't it fun to have fun and ignore the chores for a bit?! I spent the morning at the zoo and now I'm tackling clothes mountain AKA the Lang family laundry.
:wave:Hi, I once was a major puzzler. My daughter and I did all three of the Star Wars puzzles. We glued and framed them. I even have a brooch (pin) that is like a puzzle piece. I had a job and we always had a puzzle to work on at a table. One time, it just was not working. I studied the picture. Yea that's how I do mine and notice there was a major section in the wrong place. Once corrected the puzzle was finished. I always like the Coca-Cola (yea expensive). I think I need to start doing this again. Take Care, Sharon in Charleston, SC
My sister is a huge puzzle fan. She also likes crosswords, do you?
Great job btw.
I don't understand the attraction, but I'm glad you enjoy puzzles.

Glad you did it, kept you off your feet. I hope ,no, I pray that your knee is better.:love::love:Mom
RYC: Retired? Are you kidding? When I read some of your posts, I am in awe of the work you are doing. I guess when something is fun, it doesn't seem so much like work.
