Last year when our garden club had it's spring plant sale, I purchased several little Columbine starts. They bloomed last year for about a week and then basically disappeared. I thought they were dead and gone, but low and behold . . . they came back this year with vigor. The blossoms are much larger and prettier this year. I hope they all come back like this one did. I had pink, yellow and white last year and the pink is the first to bloom. Now I'm wondering if they'll have enough room and if I should provide something for them to climb on.

  • How pretty!!

  • WOW.  I like both of your pictures.  When I am able to try to paint-water color, this flower looks perfect for this.  Please have a grand weekend, Sharon

  • Your columbine is beautiful. Ours has been threatning to bloom for almost a week, but hasn't fully opened yet. Have patience, huh?:love::love:Mom

  • Mine haven't bloomed yet, but I have a really healthy looking plant that will probably be covered. It is a yellow one. I noticed that I have several little seedlings of columbine. I don't know if they will get big enough to bloom this year, but I'm anxious to see that colors they will be.
