For the most part I'm thrilled with my garden. I love going out in the morning to see what new flowers are waiting for me. I even enjoy deadheading . . . removing the spent blossoms. But I don't really enjoy the weeding very much, however that's only because with my back it's painful leaning over, and with my knee it's still a little painful when I get down on my knees. Right now I'm using a padded kneeler with extra padding . . . a beach towel wrapped around three layers of bubble wrap. So I do some leaning over and some weeding on my knees.
Below is a quick stroll through my garden today . . well maybe not so quick. Honestly, these were ALL blooming in my yard today. I took every picture this morning. . . and my yard is definately not as large as the impression this many flowers might give. Just a normal sized lot CROWDED with lots of flowers.

Wow - what a stunning display Chris. Beautiful!!
WOW !! You amaze me, Gill. You had commented on my post before I was even done with it. How do you do it?
Hmmm I don't know, I just saw your post pop up in my subscriptions and I stopped over to take a look and post a comment. Guess that cox internet I have is fast!!
No doubt, you have a green thumb. I've been reading your postings since right before you moved to Oklahoma and to think that only a little while ago there was nothing in your yard (not even a house) and now all of this. Great job.
So impressive! My hibiscus are shooting up now, but I see you have a lovely yellow one blooming. Enjoy! I'll join you next year with my garden! LOL
Hello,
I love your garden..so pretty!
Last week I was googling the word 'oxalice', to learn more about this plant that is growing volentarily in our yard. Your xanga page popped up along with other pages. I began to read some of your stuff and am very impressed with how your garden has been comming along since the begining.
I love gardening too...and I certainly understand about the back and knee pain. I suffer also, but it is so worth the pain to be out among all of God's creations. ":smile":
Well hon there is no leaning for me any more so my pots may soon come to an end as well.
Oh the smiley things still are gone. My smile last post was from using the :- method. lol
They look terrific, Chris. Very impressive especially considering that you are just in your second growing season.
