This is another of the "Digital Nuts" pictures from this week. Each Wednesday we're given seven new digital pictures and we all try our hand at enhancing it and then list the different tools that we used in creating the end result. I really liked this one.

I pulled out all of the gaillardia from my flower beds. It took me two days and I'm really glad I did it. They were really looking ratty. Last year they looked great all spring and summer long, but this year they looked good for about a month and then their appearance really went down hill. . . fast.   Not only were they all seedy, but they were so heavy that they were laying down. They were either dragging down the other plants around them, or they were completely shading out or hiding other plants.  So, out they went. The yard looks so much neater and tidier now.  I think I'll get some lilies to fill those spots.
