Yesterday I went out to lunch with my sister and her husband, as I often do on Fridays. We went to Louie's where I was very tempted to order their wonderful french fried green beans (you gotta try them - they're great) . . . but I resisted. As we were leaving, I passed the booth next to ours where a man and his young son were seated and sharing a LARGE order of the delicious fried green beans. They looked soooooooo good, and I gave the dad a thumbs up and said, "Fried green beans . . . GREAT choice!" The look on the dad's face was not what I expected; instead it was a look of "NOW look what you've done?" as the little boy looked at his dad incredulously and said, "You mean these are GREEN BEANS?!?!?!" OOPS . . . sorry, dad.

:wave:I have never tried fried green beans. I did try fry pickles couple months ago. It's funny I can not help but wander what the boy thought he was eating. Please have a Great weekend, Sharon
That's funny. My sister in law used to tell her little one that cabbage rolls were lettuce rolls to get him to eat them. A little creative fibbing is always acceptable to get them to eat their veggies. Ava
