  •  0279-Phoenix to Sedona-Enh

Here is the first picture from my recent trip with my sister Alice. This was taken near Sedona, AZ. I thought the scenery was absolutely amazing.  At first we started stopping the car and getting out each time we saw a photo op, which was about every 50 yards. We figured it would take us forever at that rate so we finally settled on me just slowing the car down while Alice would take pictures. I only took pictures at Scenic Pullovers and I still managed to take over 1200 pics.

  • :goodjob: Awesome, Chris! Looking forward to seeing many more photos too.

  • Me too! What Chris said. I think that I want to head there!

  • Beautiful. I think the first picture I posted from our trip was that very scene. They are nearly identical.

  • My very favorite place in the U.S.. Years ago, in the early 70's we took a trip (one of many) to AZ to visit my family. On the way to Scottsdale, we went down Oak Creek Canyon and on into Sedona. We spent a couple days there. Looked at a lot to buy near the chapel on the mtn.. Decided against it because it was "too expensive"----about $12,000!! Lots around here in WI at the time were around $3,000 to $4,000, and we refused to pay such an exhorbitant price! Could kick myself over and over again for that! Anyway, glad you got to see that beautiful area. If I could live anywhere I wanted, it would be Sedona!! Look forward to more pictures of my home state!
