I’m So Excited . . .
I had so many peony blooms on my bushes Friday evening that I made THREE bouquets for the house and one for the neighbors . . . and still had plenty of blooms left on the bushes. This is my biggest crop of peonies so far. I just love them. I like the white ones, the light pink ones and the dark pink ones.

Mine haven’t bloomed yet, but I am going to have quite a few. I love their fragrence. However, I still prefer the iris over any other flower.
My first peony bloomed this morning
They are stunning. Unfortunately I haven’t got any peonies here. I’m a terrible gardener.
I hear, the peonies won’t bloom until after 2-3 years they are planted. The longer they can stay in one place, the happier they are… It’s a beautiful flower though.
You’re right ONEKA, they don’t bloom for the first year or two after they are planted. I don’t know about how they react to transplanting them but I do know that I’ve gotten more blooms each year than the year before on these bushes.
Hey, your site looks great. And I’ve never seen peonies before.
ooo! They’re soooo pretty! I LOVE them…my mommy’s lilacs are blooming right now…mmm…they make everything smell sooooo good!
Oh..how wonderful. What a pitty I’m not your neighbour…. they’re so beautiful!
