What a colorful and charming little town Chesepeake City is.  It’s right on the river and is situated off the highway and sort of under the bridge.  Alice and I just couldn’t get enough of it.  We ate breakfast there, walked around taking pictures, had an ice cream cone and even took in an outdoor band concert.  And it seemed like everyone had flowers. . . flowers were everywhere. We even fantacized about someday opening up a B&B in a little town like this.

  • I love the pink coneflowers!  It’s been too long since mine have bloomed .  Thanks for the breath of life and for your fun comment!  Oh, and Happy Valentine’s Day!

  • Oh, thanks for sharing this dream with us. Oh, what fun it would be to do the B&B thing.

  • …”open it and I (sic) will come.” Need a partner, here I am. Charming photo and cerebral food.
…ah, I see, this is the entrance to the restaurant, not the side door in previous pic. [My little (and little being the keyword) funny wasn't funny, was it.] MuSe

  • PS…which state is Chesapeake City located? M

  • Oh, Christine, if it were that easy, just to travel. I would be a nomad (with my camera and sketch pad)
Yes, I do talk to my Xanga friends and myself when I blog. In fact, I just said aloud, “OH, Christine has commented on one of my blogs!” I’m delighted.
Love your enhanced photos. I’d like to paint them on canvas using messy paint.

  • That is really beautiful.
