I don’t suppose many people consider walking around unfamiliar neighborhoods and taking pictures of houses as very “vacation-like”, but that’s one of the things that my sister Alice and I like to do when we take vacations together.  This front porch filled with it’s row of patiently waiting rockers caught my eye.  I took three different shots of the house, but I really like this angle the best.   We were in Eureka Springs, Arkansas where we spent two days of our vacation.  It’s a wonderfully picturesque little town just brimming with Victorian homes, parks and flowers galore.

  • I really loved Eureka Springs. That’s a great shot there, and I like the way you enhanced it.

  • That kind of reminds me of the front porch of Cracker Barrell Restaurants.   Only, less commercial

  • Did you get to see the Passion Play at Eureka Springs? I love the picture :goodjob:…..so restful, and alot more appealing than the Cracker Barrell! (even though that is one of my favorite places to eat)

  • No, missbev, we didn’t see the Passion Play.  We did go get some pictures of the large Christ of the Ozarks statue.  Really big.

  • I think you like taking pictures… :fun: Props for ya!

  • Thanks for stopping by my site during my recovery. Nice picture.

    Love and Light
