The Mews at Windsor Castle Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy
I sort of inadvertantly started a project this week end that I’ve been meaning to get around to for a couple years. You know those old photo albums that keep the pictures in place with a sort of static electricity, and how after several years the pictures no longer stay in place? Well, I have quite a few of those and everytime I get one of them out out some of the pictures fall out. I’ve been wanting to take all the pictures of all of those kind of albums and put them in the kind that have slots for the pictures to fit into. I started late yesterday afternoon and today I finished my 6th album. Six down and 8 to go. Maybe I’ll just try to do one album per week end until they’re all done. One added bonus I’ll reap out of this project is that they will all fit on my bookshelf now without laying them on their sides. The old ones had to be laid on their sides because they were too tall.
And I’m happy to report that I did ABSOLUTELY NO OFFICE HOMEWORK this week end. I’m proud of me.

I’m proud of you, too. :goodjob:You amaze me that you are so organized. :fun: Most of my old pictures are in a shoe box. Love that shot. Getting anxious about your trip? :sunny:
:sunny: The pictures posted are some of the best I’ve seen, maybe I just love the subjects. The castle portion and the seascape below are wonderful. You mentioned spam emails. Microsoft is working on something to help with the problem, not sure what it will be, maybe we will get some real help now. I get a lot of spam and my share of the filth. Makes me angry when I know kids could be opening the same kind of trash and viewing it.
Best to you, :sunny:
:sunny: Actually, am enjoying every second of the Haiku and when I get it down, I’ll be so proud of myself  no one will be able to live with me. Will be posting something new tomorrow. Hoping you will watch for it.
Best as always to you,

Beautiful picture. My mom is in the process of organizing photos, too…must be in the air.
Couple of years ago I removed all pictures from the static stuff as they say it is bad for photo’s, and like yours some pictures were scooting out.
I put a scrapbook with the old stick corner things in it. The rest I’ve used the new boxes with index cards.
Main thing with pictures is to use a photo pen and mark who or what they are on the back. You won’t remember when you get my age….oh wait didn’t someone think you looked like his Grandmom? LOL Wait til you are standing by your 80 year old mother and someone thinks you are sisters!
You must love traveling. Next trip’s on me. :)
Oh, my, my, my! If someone mistook my mother for my sister that WOULD hurt.
Good for you…on all counts.
Mike
:goodjob:Love the photos and getting to see your husband in England. Keep ‘em coming cause I love looking at your travel photos. Wonderful that you are organizing them and in acid free albums I bet. :sunny:
