In Chipping Campden, England Photo & enhancement by Chris Duffy
This is going to have to be a very quick blog, because it’s late and my husband is reminding me that way past my bath and bed time. I’ve been working feverishly to get my photo album done and I do have that done now. Out of the 694 pictures I took I chose the best 204 to print out. That took a while, and several print cartridges. NOW we know why they practically give you the printers . . . they make their money on the consumables. Anyway, I’m please with the album and I can revisit the Cotswolds any time I want by just looking through all the pictures.
I’ve had nothing but troubles with my computer trying to print out all these pictures too. I really do think the time has come to let this one go to it’s reward. It just kept locking up and then the only way I could turn it off was to pull the plug, and we all know Windows does NOT like to be shut down that way.
Oh, dear, here he comes again to remind me how late it is. Gotta go folks.

That’s another great shot, Chris. I think I’m headed to bed now too.
I really like that photos Christine. The starkeness of the long wall of stone with the greenery is just the type of contrast I like to see in pictures and design. I know just what you mean about computer heaven. Mine is nearing that same event. I am hoping that I can upgrade my Windows software and improve the condition. Love the pictures. Are we going to get to see all 694? :giggle:
You make such beautiful pictures. I was reminded of the daffodils recently as I drove to work. I live just outside of DC and there were daffodils EVERYWHERE. Just like in your pictures.
I hope you’ll post more of your beautiful pictures. That may be the closest I ever get to England. :p
Heavens no, eternal sojourner! Some of them were real stinkers. After looking at some of the pictures on the computer screen, I had to ask myself, “Why did I take THAT shot?” But rest assured you’ll get to see plenty of England shots in the upcoming months. You might even get sick of seeing Cotswold stone cottages.
I wanna go there!
I’ve had better luck since I switched to Windows XP but my PC is aout 6 years old and gets slower & slower.

LOL!! Glad that you persevered and got your album finished. I, for one, hope that you will do an enlargement of the cart and flower picture. I love your pics!!
The pictures are fascinating. This of the pump is wonderful. I imagine that photo album will be a treasure for years to come. Printer troubles here also, I won’t even start about it. It needs a blog.
