NEWS FLASH !!! I’m able to get to the internet from my new computer. I have sound and a screen, so we’re making progress. Now I have to take the time to load all my software, but I’ll be out of town at a business meeting for three days, then on Saturday a wedding to go to, then Saturday evening, company coming, then Sunday evening we go to someone else’s house for dinner. That doesn’t leave much time for what I’d REALLY like to be doing, and that’s playing with my new toy and getting it all set up. But, this area of my life has no deadlines, so it’ll happen when it happens.
Thanks for the encouraging words.

I’m so glad you’re getting it all going. Setting up computers can be aggravating. You sound like you’re getting busy like me. I’m still enjoying your pictures. Could you (or Alice) please tell me something. Where is the dang smudge tool on Paint Shop Pro? :lookaround: I can’t find it anywhere. :fun:
I just sent you an email, Gail, with the location, but it is the hand icon that is labeled retouch, Then in the tools option patette, choose smudge from the menu down at the bottom. … Alice :)
:goodjob: I’m so happy that the computer problem was located and fixed… now you can enjoy the weekend off and your mind won’t be on how to fix a problem when you finally get back to your brand new wonderful computer. :heartbeat: Have a great trip.
Glad to hear your new computer is up and running. I’m lucky because I’m married to a computer guy…and so far I’ve not been able to break the computer to a point that he can’t fix it!!
I think you are doing super. :sunny:
That’s wonderful news! :goodjob:
BTW, we currently have 3 computers up and running continuously day and night. It is better for the computer to leave it up and running than to turn it on and off all the time. My mother said that when she took a computer class for seniors that her instructor said, “You don’t turn off your refrigerator when you leave the room, why would you turn off your computer?”
:sunny: :heartbeat:
Congratulations! :sunny: Have a good trip even though you won’t be doing your favorite thing.

re your comment on my site: Grevel House. The rich have always lived well, but back then they built well too. Mega desirable residence even (or especially) today.
Have a great weekend
Sounds like a busy weekend! Enjoy, and yay for ‘net access on new computers! :)
