  • Another Broadmoor shot                                          Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy

Man, I’ve been busy lately.  So busy I’ve not had time to post.  The kids were here for the week end and that was a lot of fun.  Then today at work felt like a Monday and a Tuesday all put together, with a little bit of Friday thrown in for good measure.  There just wasn’t much to do at work Friday because so many people had taken Friday off to add to the Holiday week end, and it all caught up today.  I just finished working on my final project of the day about 15 minutes ago.  But when I get to work tomorrow I should be sort of caught up now.

Thought of the day: Today’s mighty oak is just yesterday’s nut that held its ground.

  • Maybe I’ll be a mighty oak some day.  :giggle:

  • Well, then, today should be like a Wednesday… which is good. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

  • Just look out for Thursdays. As one of my favorite fictional characters is fond of saying “I never could get the hang of Thursdays.” Arthur Dent.

All my mifghty own seems to hold is squirrels.

  • mifghty own = mighty oak*

  • Then, I guess you are more or less caught up now… that’s good.  :goodjob:

  • Been a Monday all week for me! Beautiful clear picture, sort of like our last couple mornings huh?

  • Glad that you enjoyed your family and hope that work lightens up now that the project is done.

  • That is another beautiful picture!

  •  …last week was all messed up. I kept thinking Thursday was Friday. Wishful thinking, I suppose.  :p

…wooo, only 29 days until the adventure. Hope one, or both, of you will be able to keep us homebound posted on the happenings.  MuSe

  • I love your thought of the day.  I think that your pictures of the Broadmoor are prettier than the Broadmoor actually is.  I live not too too far from the Broadmoor, it’s a lovely place.

  • i was wondering about that oak tree!

  •  :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:mom

  • I love that quote!
