Mt. Petite Jean in Arkansas Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy
This was one of the sights that Alice and I saw on our Arkansas “sister trip” last year. I’m getting excited now about this year’s sister trip to Austin. It’s only 19 days till we go. The count down begins. I know I’ll need to remind both of my bosses that it’s coming up, although they both approved it way over a month ago. They tend to forget things. They won’t be delighted, but then I DO have vacation coming, and I don’t want to loose it by not taking it.
Thought of the day: Do you know what you get when you rearrange the letters in SNOOZE ALARMS?
ALAS! NO MORE Z’s.

Sister trip! Exciting times. I love to hear about them after you go, and of course, love those photos that keep coming.

I have a picture almost just like that, one of my favorites of the Arkansas trip. I’m getting excited about our upcoming sister trip, too. :fun: :fun: :fun:
Hey Chris… I answered your comment on my blog, but so you won’t have to go back there… here it is:
Warren has built fences before with no help, so I know he knows where and how to start. I think the primary problem is coordinating it with our neighbor, who wants a fence too, but is waiting for Kyle to do what he promised since a fence was in their contract. I’m in favor of going ahead but if Kyle would build the fence on that one side, it would save money. Now does it sound like Warren? :giggle:
Yes, now THAT sounds like Warren.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Re: the profile pic…I nabbed that off a BBC website a few years ago. It’s of a woman (probably a tourist) in Trafalgar Square, London, where pigeons are known to flock in massive numbers. They’re in her hair, all over here, pooping and whatnot. It’s the story of my life (kidding). I know her frustration, and felt it would be apt.
The Sims is a computer game where you create and control simulated people, helping them to get jobs, get along with each other, grow families, etc. But almost anything is possible.
I absolutely would love to go on a trip with friends who love taking pictures as much as me and I am a hiker and backpacker just waiting for my next adventure!! I hope you two have a ton of fun and bring back great shots. I am jealous!
Neat shot. Reminds me of Lookrock on the foothills parkway in Tenn.
Goodness that is a beautiful picture!!
Beautiful pictures–both above and below. I hope you have good weather on your trip this year. :sunny:
