Monarch at Enchanted Rock Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy
Believe me, I didn’t get this close to this monarch butterfly. Thankfully, my camera has 4 megapixels, so if I take my pictures at a high enough resolution, then I can zoom in on a small part of the picture, crop the rest and still have a pretty decent photo. This was taken at Enchanted Rock. I don’t usually take many flower pictures when we’re hiking, but on this trip I made a concious effort to include some of the local flora, and I’m glad I did, because they are so colorful.

Beautiful, Chris. One of these days, I’ll have a camera as powerful as yours. I would love to have the option of cropping down to a detail and still have such good resolution. Have a great weekend. :heartbeat:
I don’t think my $45 knows what a megapixel is
I did some of the rain on the island the other day – we got 4″ overnight and everywhere turned into watefalls and the kid had the day off school, but they are really not good at all. I might PSP them a bit and see.
Chris is that Angie’s rose in the left of your blog ? As you can see my computer is usable now. Have a good weekend. :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: Mom
Yes, mom, that is Angie’s rose in the profile pic. I called that picture “One Perfect Rose”.
